This monthly group is for therapists that want to:

  • Master case conceptualization for presenting problems and common stuck points in couples work

  • Learn more approaches to help couples resolve their presenting problems through the lens of a variety of theoretical frameworks (Imago, EMDR, family system, psychodynamic, IFS, etc) based on what on what is most needed to deepen the therapeutic process

  • Understand how to go deeper when the therapy hits an impasse

There are plenty of quality couples therapy trainings. This consultation group is less about going deep in any one model and instead is about how to “see” the stuck issues in the relationship in a different way.

Details

  • Fridays 12-1:15p EST once a month online via Zoom

  • $75 per monthly session

  • 6 month commitment

  • Group size limited to 6 or less

 About Mary Rower, RN, LCSW

I have been working as a couple’s therapist for over 20 years and it’s something I still have a real passion for.  Over the years I’ve received extensive training in multiple models for couple’s therapy.  What I’ve gathered from my clinical experience of seeing so many couples is that the work goes faster and deeper when I take a step back to “diagnose” their main struggles for myself then I can “see” their stuck and painful dynamics.

I can then often draw the clients a diagram of what patterns lie underneath their painful repetitive processes.  From there, practical interventions follow.

I really love helping other therapists see possibilities in the work.  Helping to assess and determine a clear path for difficult cases is something I’ve found I have strengths in and why many of my colleagues often reach out to me when they are stuck with a couple and not sure where to go.

+ SUPERVISION VS CONSULTATION?

This is consultation, not supervision so it cannot count as hours toward supervision for licensure
